I think that the answer is stop using one's own first language when you want to improve more. Most of people wants to improve the first important language-English. Nevertheless, they forget to think about natureal speaking is also important.  

Language is not so hard, isn't it? The most important thingis how to talk with people. Speaking is the first step when we were born.  Secondly, we need to learn how to understand the sentences. Listening is the second important thing. When I studied in the international house Sydney, I enjoyedstudying with teachers and students. It was totally different between Intermediate and upper-intermediate.

We have a lot of discussions in the classes time. Meanwhile,  we had great time with classmates.

It was a good start at the moment.

Keep doingit and not to give up early.
